Fourth week of March

Last full week of March is over. We increased some of our positions by reinvesting received dividends.

We bought 9 shares of A&W Revenue Royalties IN-UTS @40,78888 CAD, 3 shares of Kemira @12.30667 € and 10 shares of Capman @2,454 €. Purchases were small but at least we put dividends back to work. These purchases will increase our 2022 dividend income approximately by 9,30 €

We received following dividends:

• 10,23 € from Dominion Energy
• 60,01 € from Blackrock Inc
• 55,42 € from Manulife Financial Corp
• 1 share of Main Street Capital worth 36,16 €
• 5,52 € remainder from MAIN DRIP
• 7,20 € from Capman

This week's dividend income was 174,54 €. This is more than what is needed to receive weekly to meet our target so we were able to narrow the gap to our target pace. We are quite happy.

Third week of March

This week was pretty uneventful except for the 15th when we received usual mid-month dividends. We made one purchase this week. We bought 188 shares of Owl Rock Capital Corp @14,1718 USD. This purchase will increase our 2022 net dividend income around 150 €. 

We received following dividends:

• 8,60 € from Main Street Capital
• 5,04 € from Apple hospitality Reit
• 16,34 € from Exchange Income
• 23,74 € from Realty Income Corp
• 76,10 € from Duke Energy. 

This week's dividends were 129,82 €, which is decent amount. Amount of dividends received so far in March is 496,76 and we surpassed whole February's dividends. 

Second week of March

This week was quite good. We received dividends almost every day and we made some reinvestments. We bought 20 shares of Capman @2,6465. We also bought 3 shares of Sampo @40,66333 €. We do have 3000 € left on our investment accounts, but we have not yet decided where to invest that money.

• 10,33 € from Walgreens boots alliance
• 18,88 € from Exxon Mobil Corp

We received 245,13 € dividends this week which is a really good result. 

Last week of February and first week of March

Again two weeks between writing the blog. We have to do better job in future.

We lost Monmouth Real Estate REIT due a acquisition by Industrial Logistics Properties Trust. We received 4301,38 € and realised 1298,32 € profit. Total income from Monmouth Real Estate for us was 1561,58 €, including the dividends. As this was "forced" realization of the investment we started to think what to with the money. As a current uncertainty in market did not encourage us to invest money back immediately and one of our investment loans was about to end soon, we decided to lower our risk and pay back investment loan. So we paid back 1482,31 € for that loan, where 1480 € was principal and 2,31 interests and fees. By repaying the loan a few months earlier we freed up approximately 215 € cashflow in future months. As we expect the markets to fluctuate and decline in near future, we believe that investing the freed cashflow in near future is better choice than invest now. We also paid back one non-investment loan exactly same reasons. We do have still money left from Monmouth to be invested later this month.

We also had regular payment of our remaining investment loan. We paid back 282 € principal and 13,24 interests and fees.

Total amount of dividends in 2 weeks was 259,26 €. February dividends were less than last year's February and we fell even more behind the target pace. Currently we are 486,98 € behind as year 2022 income so far is 1084,83 €.

 

Second and third week of February 2022

We did not have time to update the blog last weekend so here round up 2 week's worth of events. Quite a lot happened in last two weeks. There were several dividend increases and dividend annoucements. 

Sampo's Board of Directors suggested 4,10 € dividend to AGM. This was a lot more than we expected. We expected 1,7 €. This dividend increase will mean approximately 700 € more dividends in 2022 than we estimated. 

Taaleri's Board of Directors suggested 1,2 € dividend to AGM. We did not have any expectations set for Taaleri so this will mean 272,40 € more dividends in 2022 than we expected. 

Aktia's Board of Directors dividend suggestion to AGM is 0,56 €. We expected to receive 0,43 € per share. This increase will have 10,27 € positive impact to our dividends in 2022. 

NN group increased dividend by 7% from 1,47 to 1,56. This means 4,21 € more dividends in 2022. 

Pepsico annouced dividend increase by 7%. This will increase our 2022 dividend approximately by 2 €

Genuine Parts announced 9,8% dividend hike. This will increase our 2022 dividends approximately by 1,40 €. 

Coca-Cola annouced dividend increase by 4,8%. This will increase our 2022 dividends approximately by 4 €.

In total the dividend hikes will increase our 2022 passive income by whopping 994,28 €.

Total amount of dividends received was 225,87 €. The amount was very nice. As we have closed some positions which paid dividends in February we will not reach last year's February dividends.

First week of February 2022

Quite a lot happened this week because the month changed. We received last dividends of January on monday, paid investment loan installments and received first dividends for February. We made some purchases and there were some dividend suprises. 

First let's look at our loan installments. We paid back 495 € principal and 16,50 € fees and interests.

Full year earnings have started to come public. Kone announced it's results and and board made dividend suggestion for AGM. The dividend suggestion is a little less than which we received last year. Kone will pay 1,75 € dividends per share, which is 0,5 € less than we expected. This reduces our 2022 dividend income by 35 €. Nordea announced full year earnings and suggested 0,69 € dividend for AGM which is more than we expected. We expected 0,45 € dividends from Nordea. The suggested dividend means that we will receive 307,76 € more than we projected. 

This week we bought:

• 40 shares of A&W Revenue Royalties IN-UTS @38,3875 CAD. Purchase will increase our 2022 dividend income approximately by 38,26 €
• 5 shares of Sampo @44,68240 increasing our 2022 dividend income by 6,33 €. 

In total the change of dividend income of 2022 this week was +317,35 €.

Also Vodafone paid its dividend but we are participating to DRIP so it will be sorted out later. 

This week's dividend income was 91,5 €, which is pretty decent for this time of year. This means that our final January 2022 passive income was 552,55 € and February dividend amount is now 48,26 €. 

We fell behind of the target pace as expected, but we were able to increase our January dividend income by 28,8% from last year. February will be bad month for us. We will not reach the last year's level in dividends. 

Last week of January 2022

Last week of January is over and we have received almost all dividends from January. Last dividends of this month arrive on monday. Week was pretty quiet but good dividendwise. We made a few small purchases too.

Last full week of January accumulated total of 114,2 € dividends, which is pretty good. We are still expecting six dividends in January. So far we have received 493,99 € passive income in 2022. 

3rd week of January 2022

This week we received some dividends which we reinvested. The stock market seems to be a bit uneasy at the moment, but we are not worried. We haven't considered selling our positions. Instead we will continue increasing our dividend income. 

This week we purchased:

• 5 shares of Gilead Sciences @71,25 USD. This will increase our 2022 income by 10,50 €
  
• 10 shares of Capman @2,904 €. This will increase our 2022 income by 1 €.

• 26,78 € from Transcontinental
• 36,48 € from Cardinal Health Inc
• 3,77 € from Keurig DrPepper.

Total amount of dividends this week was 75,17 €.

2nd week of January 2022

This week was pretty good one. We received quite nice amount of dividends and made few purchases with dividends received. Our portfolios' first dividend increase came this week. Blackrock raised dividend by 18%, which means approximately 35 € increase to our year 2022 dividends.

• 4 shares of Keurig DrPepper @38,7251 USD. This will increase our 2022 income by 1,64 €
• 1 share of Abbvie @133,67 USD. This will increase our 2022 income by 3,12 € 
• 1 share of Coca Cola @61,53 USD. This will increase our 2022 income by 1,20 €. 

So total amount of 2022 dividends increased this week was 51,96 €. Pretty good increase.

Total amount of dividends received this week was 240,22 €, which is really good amount. Some of Main Street Capital dividends failed to arrive on time. In 2022 we have now received 296,59 € passive income.

First week of 2022

Year has started slowly. We received a few dividends and made some purchases. Nothing special happened. 

This we made following purchases.

These purchases should increase our 2022 dividend income by 94 €. 

We received year's first dividends and other capital gains:

• 32,46 € from Iron Mountain

Unfortunately our bank failed (again) transfer all dividends on time for us. We are waiting Pepsico dividends to arrive.
