  • 1 share of Capman @3,12 €
  • 25 shares of Main Street Capital @45,1536 USD
  • 42 shares of Exchange Income @42,57333

These purchases should increase our 2022 dividend income by 94 €.

We received year's first dividends and other capital gains:

  • 0,02 € interests
  • 4,89 € from Genuine Parts
  • 19,00 € from Telus

Year 2021 is over

This week was a good one. We received last dividends and interests for 2021 and we did made last adjustments in our portfolios.

We sold our position in Trainer's House @0,77020 and bought 1 share of Sampo @44,73 instead.

This week we received following income:

  • 49,45 € from Blackrock
  • 0,01 € interest from our bank accounts
  • 0,56 € from Gladstone Investment corp BDC
  • 0,28 € from Gladstone Commercial Reit
  • 3,36 € from Main Street Capital
  • 17,56 € from Gilead Sciences
  • 20,00 € from Citycon
  • 7,72 € from A&W Revenue Royalties
  • 6,11 € from Methanex
  • 8,27 € from Cohen & Steers Infrastructure Fund
  • 13,80 € from Transalta Renewables
  • 25,73 € from Brookfield Infrastructure
  • 35,96 € from Simon Property group

So our income in the last week of the year was 188,81 € which is really good. Total amount of passive income in December was 738,95 €. December was extremely good month for us as was the whole year 2021. Our total passive income in 2021 was 8678,51 € so we almost reached the target which we have set for 2022! We are positively surprised.

In the last quarter our portfolio developed well. As we did not make many purchases in the last month, we have a bit more cash in our portfolio than usually. Our cash positions increased more than 100% in last quarter. As we do not really invest in funds, our mutual funds increased only a fraction, but still increased a bit. We have considered withdrawing money from the coops, but we have not done it yet. The reason why we consider  withdrawing money from them is that coops have cut the yearly interest paid for the capital invested.

Our position in shares has increased very well on last quarter. There is substantial growth in both value of the stocks and new invested money for stocks. Our gross investment portfolio has grown  8,87% within last 3 months. Our investment loans have been decreasing a bit faster than the plan is and amount of loan has decreased by 8,1% in the last quarter. Our net investment portfolio has grown 10,39% in the last quarter. Our net investment portfolio grew total of 80 190,89 € in 2021. We are very happy with our portfolio increase in 2021.

This week was pretty good as mid-month weeks usually are. We received good amount of dividends and made one purchase.

This week Realty Income announced yet another dividend increase. As usual the increase was very small, but even the small increase is an increase. This dividend increase will raise our 2022 income approximately by 0,54 €.

We bought 2 shares of Sampo @44,125 €. This purchase will improve our 2022 income approximately by 5,51 € since we bought these to non-tax advantaged account.

This week we received following dividends:

  • 4,10 € from Main Street Capital

We received following dividends:

  • 16,84 € from Southern Co
  • 30,22 € from Johnson & Johnson
  • 18,49 € from Exxon Mobil Corp

Fourth week of November

This was a very quiet week in our portfolio. We made two purchases and received only 3 dividends.

We had some AUDs sitting on our account and we wanted revinvest them. We bought 383 shares of AGL Energy @5,41611 AUD. We reinvested 375 AUD and rest was new money. If the level of dividends remains the same we expect to receive around 150 € dividends in 2022. We are a bit doubtful if they will keep the dividend payment so high. We also bought 37 shares of A&W Revenue Royalties Income Fund @40,92514 CAD. This purchase should increase our 2022 dividend income by 38,61 €.

Our current estimation of the next year's dividends shows now that we will meet the set target. Of course there will always be suprises during the year (good and bad ones) so we have to work with next year's portfolio for a while to get some safety margin for suprises.

This week we received following dividends:

Total amount of dividends this week was 165,70 € and in November 864,62 €. Total amount for year 2021 is now 7880,15 €.

Third week of November 2021

Second week of November 2021

This week was an interesting one. We received some dividends and then there were some corporate actions. And all this happened on Friday. First those corporate actions:

Waypoint REIT had reserve split 1 to 0,9382. It also returned capital to shareholders. Another intresting event was with Realty Income. Vereit and Realty Income merged and spinned offices to a new company called Orion Office Reit.

Below is a summary of this week's passive income:

Total amount of passive income this week was 455,99 €. Total amount of passive income this month is now at 555,94 €, which is a lot better than expected. Of course this is because of one time events which happened.
