 Month changed and quite a lot happened this week. Below is our quarterly summary:

Our portfolio grows to right direction. We pay back our investment loans marginally faster than planned. The reason for this is that we like to round up the loan payments to nice even numbers. The value of shares has developed in the right direction. 

This week we paid our monthly investment loan installments. We paid 22,51 € interests and fees and 503,05 € principal.

These purchases will increase our 2021 dividend income approximately by 35 €.

This week we received following dividends;

This totals up to 150,67 €. This means that total dividend income in June was 710,16 € which is second best in 2021 so far and almost double what we received in June 2020. July dividends are now at 150,50 €.

Midsummer 2021

It is Midsummer fest. So nothing happens today and that's why update comes a day earlier than usual. Again it was a very satisfying week with activity almost every day. We had maintenance time for our cars, so we spent some of the cash we received from selling AT&T and reinvested rest of the cash. 

We bought 33 shares of Gilead Sciences @67,15152 USD. This will increase our 2021 dividend income by 31,60 €.  Also Simon Property Group annouced dividend increase. This increase means approximately 4 € increase to 2021 dividends. 

We received following dividends:

Dividend amount this week's was 127,87 €. It seems that June will be this year's second best month so far, which is pretty good since summer months have been bad months earlier in dividendwise.

Third week of June 2021

This week was pretty usual one. We made few small purchases and received some dividends.
We bought:

  • 1 share of Capman @2,80 €
  • 1 share of Kesko @28,08 €

These will increase our dividend income by 0,33 € in 2021. 

We received following dividends

  • 6,93 € from Inter Pipeline
  • 10,97 € from Exchange Income
  • 20,51 € from Realty Income
  • 28,91 € from Monmouth REIT
  • 67,43 € from Duke Energy
  • 1 share from NN Group worth of 41,16
  • 2,94 € from remainder from NN Group
  • 0,35 € from Lumen Technologies
  • 1,43 € from Main Street Capital
  • 0,42 € from Gladstone Investment Corp BDC

Total amount of dividends in June is now 537,12 € so we met the monthly target of 525 € early. Cumulative passive income reached the level where we should be at end of July, being now 3786,25 €.

Second week of June

This week was nice. We received some dividends and we made few small purchases. Overall we had some activity almost every day of the week. 

This week we bought 125 shares of Citycon @7,724 € to tax advantaged account and 10 shares of Tesco Plc @ 2,28644 £. We are expecting these purchases increase our dividend income at least by 18,75 €. 

This week we received following dividends:

  • 15,65 € from Southern Co
  • 227 € from Taaleri
  • 28,03 € from Johnson & Johnson
  • 17,72 € from Whitestone Reit
  • 16,36 € from ExxonMobil

 Total amount of dividends received this week was 304,76 € (355,48 € in June) which is pretty good. We are in good pace and we have almost reached the level were we should be at end of July.

Start of the June

Dividendwise this week was pretty quiet, but as we are restructuring our portfolio in some extend we had quite many transactions. Also we made our investment loan payments this week. We paid back 502,33 € principal and 23,26 € fees and interests.

We do still have some cash left from sell of AT&T shares. We will use some of it for expenses and reinvest the rest within 2 weeks.We still have some AT&T shares left in our portfolio.

This week's transactions will reduce our 2021 dividend income approximately by 67,35 €. 

We received received following dividends this week:

So total amount of passive income in May was 1011,31€, which is second best month ever for us. Dividend income collected in June is 50,72 € since we have received only one dividend so far. Our cumulative passive income year to date is 3299,85 €. So we have now received 52,38 % of our target.

Last full week of May

This week was best week in 2021. The reason for this is that we received annual dividend from one of our largest positions, Sampo. We also started to restructuring some of our holdings due the fact that our bank will increase the trading costs in some markets, for example in USA. 

We sold out our position in HP Inc @31,6435 USD. We realised 63,55 € profit. We bought 3 shares of British American Tobacco @27,95953 £. This change will increase our 2021 dividends by 2,16 €. We reinvested some dividends and bought 54 shares of Taaleri @12,32204 €. to tax advantaged account. This purchase will increase 2021 dividend income by 54 €. We also bought 2 shares of Lumen Technologies @14,5743 USD. This will increase our 2021 dividend income by 1 €.

This week we received following dividends. 

  • 1 share of Main Street Capital as a DRIP worth of 32,23 €
  • -1,28 € as a witheld tax from Main Street Capital DRIP
  • 13,22 € from LTC Properties. 
  • 432,19 € from Sampo
  • 21,17 € from Carrefour S.A.
  • 0,25 € from Gladstone Commercial Reit
  • 0,29 € from Gladstone Investment Corp BDC
  • 0,62 € from Sabra Health Care Reit
  • 25,16 € Interests from Coop memberships. 

Total amount of passive income was 523,85 €. Now we have received 990,27 € in May 2021. Total amount of passive income in 2021 is now 3228,09 €, which is more than what we would need to have at end of June to meet our target. We are expecting to receive two more dividends at last day of May.

Third week of May 2021

This week was nice, even though we did not received a lot of dividends.The week was nice because we had some activity on every day of the week. 

We made only one small purchase this week. We bought 4 shares of Whitestone REIT @8,484 USD. This will increase our 2021 dividend income by 0,7 €.

We received following dividends:

  • 0,71 € from Prospect Capital Corp
  • 13,39 € from Ocean Yield 
  • 46,75 € from Omega Healtcare Investors
  • 20,39 € from Realty Income Corp
  • 1,39 € from Diversified Healthcare Trust
  • 14,29 € from Royal Bank of Canada
  • 1,42 € from Main Street Capital

Total amount of dividends this week was 98,34 €. So far we have collected more dividends in May 2021 than in May 2020. As of today the collected amount in May is 466,42 €. We are expecting the large annual dividend from Sampo to land on our accounts next week and that will raise our income above the cumulative June target. So we will move one month ahead of our target pace. Which is great.

Second week of May 2021

This week was quite ordinary.We were able to increase our 2021 dividend income by 30,07 € and we received 72,68 € dividends. 

We opened new position at Carrefour S.A. and bought 60 shares @16,81333 € taxes and fees included. This should increase our 2021 dividends by 28,80 €. We also increased our position at Sampo and bought 1 share @41,13 €. This will increase our 2021 dividend income by 1,27 €. 

We received following dividends:

So far we have collected 368,21 € dividends in May which is 70 % of our monhly target. We are still expecting to receive around 600 € this month. We will receive something between 950 € and 1000 € this month in total.

First week of May 2021

It was time to pay installments of our investment loans as always at the beginning of the month. We paid back 502,54 € principal and 23,05 € fees and interests. Even though we have fixed principal payment through loan time, we usually round it up so that payment is even number. We also have possibility to reduce our principal payment down to 0 at will. Total amount of this usable flexible portion is 10 % of original borrowed amount.  We haven't used the flexible portion at all yet. 

This week we reinvested our dividends and made a few small purchases. We bought 4 shares of Tesco Plc @2,2621 £ and 7 shares of Sampo @40,70714 €. Tesco Plc purchase will increase our 2021 income by 0,43€ and Sampo by 11,47€.

So the first week of May was pretty decent, even though we had only three dividend payers. We received total of  295,53 € which is 56,3% of our whole month's target.

End of April

We had a great last week of April. We received some surprise dividends as we had not included all the payers in our forecast. This week we made two small purchases. We bought 3 shares of Sabra Healthcare REIT @18,30120 USD. This will increase our 2021 dividend income by 1,91 €. We also bought 5 shares of Tesco Plc @2,24529 £. This will increase our 2021 dividends by 0,34 €. 

This week we received following dividends or capital income:

So total amount of passive income in last week of April was 218,02 € which was a lot more than expected.These dividends raised our April dividend income to 658,77 € and we reached the goal of 525 € clearly. Now we are 137,82 € ahead of our target pace. 

This week we also reached a milestone of 25 000 € received passive income from 2008 to today. We have received some dividends earlier than 2008 but we do not have any records for those.
