Last week of June 2022

Second quarter is over. Its time to take a look at portflolio. The markets have declined lately and of course our portfolio hasn't been immune to it either. Even though we kept investing regularly our portfolio went down a bit. Almost every asset class declined a bit except investment funds and coop memberships. We will withdraw some of the Investment funds at the end of  July and we will reinvest money to stocks in early August. So after 3rd quarter investment funds will be again around 9000 €. We are relatively happy that value of our portfolio has gone down only around 3%. It could be a lot worse.

We made July's first purchase on Friday. We bought 10 shares of Kesko A @21,008 €. As a result we are expecting to receive 5,30 € more dividends this year.

In total we received 314,19 € this week, 918,23 € in June and 66,19 € in July so far. June was very good month dividendwise. 

Fourth week of June 2022

This week was very quiet. We received some dividends and that's all.This week's dividends came from following companies:

• 10,75 € from Dominion Energy
• 62,66 € from Blackrock
• 56,35 € from Manulife Financial Corp
• 1 share from Main Street Capital worth 33,21 €
• 10,95 € as a remainder from Main Street Capital DRIP

Not a lot of payers but total sum was 173,92 €, which is quite decent. Total amount of dividends in June is now at 673,74 €. We will meet the monthly target again this month. 

Third week of June 2022

This week was pretty decent. Realty Income annouced yet another dividend increase. 0,0005 USD/share as usual. The increase is so small that we hardly can see any effect on our income, but anyway we are happy. Another event was with Telus. Telus announced intention to buy Lifeworks Inc with very high premium. We are not sure is this good or bad thing. Good is that there are now more opportunities for growth, but the very high premium paid is a risk. 

We bought 104 shares of Brandywine Realty Trust @9,99365 USD. This purchase will increase our 2022 dividend income approximately by 30 €. Second share we bought this week was 48 pcs of Independence Realty Trust @21,62290 USD contributing to our 2022 dividend income approximately by 10 €.

Total amount of dividends this week was 244,23 € which is really good amount. Dividends received in June is now 499,55 €. 

Second week of June 2022

This week was pretty decent one. Brookfield Infrastucture Corp had 3:2 split, increasing our position to 100 shares. We also received 21,79 € from BIPC fractional shares. We received following dividends:

Total amount of money received this week was 127,90 €. We reinvested the dividends and bought 21 Kesko A @22,07333 €. This will increase our 2022 dividends by 16,59 €. So far this year we have received 6315,96 € passive income which is 72,6% of our year 2022 target. 

First week of June 2022

Month turned to June. It was again time to pay installment of our investment loan. We paid back 286,46 € principal and 13,54 € fees and interests. Next month our expenses of the loan are a bit higher than now because the yearly interest revision date is in this month. The interests are now somewhat higher than year ago. Even though the interest rises the loan is still cheap, so we will not accelerate payments, yet. We will think about it again next spring. 

We made some purchases because we received substantial amount of dividends. 

We bought 82 shares of Kesko A @21,80268 €. This purchase will increase our dividends in 2022 by 64,78 €. We also bought 6 shares Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce @70,11333 CAD.

Total amount of passive income in May was 2236,38 € which is ATH dividend income in a month. In June we have already accumulated 124,47 € in dividends. The dividends from Sampo raised our yearly total dividend to the levels where we should be at August in order to meet our target. So we are now well ahead of our target pace, which is good. Our dividend income will be significantly lower on rest of the months. 

 

Fourth week of May 2022

This week was really uneventful. We did not make any transactions, no new dividend increases were announced and we only received dividend from Royal Bank of Canada, which paid us 33,62 €. This really was all what happened this week, unfortunately. 

Third week of May 2022

This week was yet another quiet week, as next week will be too. Still we were able to receive some dividends and made one purchase. 

We bought 2 shares of Kesko A @22,345 €.  Also Leggett & Platt announced 4,8 % dividend increase.

Second week of May 2022

This week was very quiet one. We did not make any trasactions and received dividends only on Thursday and Friday. Amount of dividends was decent though.

First week of May 2022

First week of May was quiet dividendwise, but we made some purchases. We opened new position in Alpine Income Property Trust and bought 125 shares @18,578 USD. This purchase should increase our 2022 income approximately by 80 €. We increased our position in Gladstone Commercial Reit by 165 shares @21,09103 USD, adding 130 € to our 2022 dividends. We also increased our position in Capman by 5 shares @2,606 €.

We received following dividends.

• 58,55 € from Brickworks
• 16,71 € from British American Tobacco

Total amount of dividends was 126,68, which was decent. 

Last week of April

The last week of April is over and dividendwise the month was best month ever. We are yet to reach the magical 2000 € but this time it was very close. During the last week we received following dividends:

Total amount of dividends was 193,46 € which is really good. In total we received 1926,60 € dividends in April. 

We also made some transactions last week, and even made one sale. We lowered our position at Nordea Bank by 350 shares @9,36814 €. We downsized the position approximately by 25%. We bought 10 shares of Sampo @47,278 €. After selling part of the Nordea positions, we have a few thousand euros of cash to invest in near future. We haven't decided yet in which companies we will invest though.
