Last week of February 2021

Last week was a disapointment. We did receive most of dividends and made small purchase, but our bank failed to deliver some dividends to us. Because of that we did not reach the target and this month was weaker than February a year ago. 

This week Keurig Dr Pepper announced 25% dividend increase. This hike will increase our 2021 dividend income approximately by 1,40 €. This was 11th dividend increase in our portfolio in 2021. 

We bought 5 shares of Whitestone REIT @9,5344 USD. This will increase our dividend income approximately by 1,25 € in 2021.

During the last week of February 2021 we received following dividends:

• 20,50 € from Realty Income Corp
  
• 1 share of Main Street Capital worth of 28,18 €
• 2,58 € as a remainder of DRIP of Main Street Capital
  
• 13,81 € from Royal Bank of Canada
  
• 13,03 € from Ocean Yield ASA
• 13,26 € from LTC Properties
• 13,02 € Transalta Renewables
• 0,25 € from Gladstone Commercial REIT
• 0,29 € from Gladstone Investmen Corp BDC

Our bank failed to deliver dividends from Tesco and Cibus on time. We are expecting them to arrive next week. Because of these delays we did not reach our target in February. 

We received total of 497,38 € passive income in February and now we have collected 890,80 € in 2021. We should have collected 1050 € to reach target so we are lagging 159,20 € behind. This would mean that we should collect 541 €/month rest of the year to reach target. We are also behind the pace what we had in 2020. At the same time last year we had collected 944,92 € passive income. 

Third week of February 2021

Third week passed. Unfortunately we did not receive all the dividends we expected but week was ok anyway.

Coca-Cola announced dividend increase. The increase was 0.04 USD to annual dividend. This means approximately 1,82 € increase to our 2021 dividends. 

We received dividends from following companies:

• 19,97 € from Abbvie
• 1,43 € from Main Street Capital
• 10,50 € from Exchange Income
  
• 6,65 € from Inter Pipeline 
• 46,80 € from Omega Healthcare Investors
• 2 shares of Saratoga Investment worth of 36,16 €
• -4,14 € for withheld taxes from Saratoga Investment
• 1,40 € from Diversified Healthcare Trust

Our bank failed to deliver Realty Income dividends on time to our bank account. There are still problems with our bank but they seem to be a bit less frequent than last year. We are also waiting Main Street Capital DRIP to be sorted. 

We have now collected 392,46 € capital income in February and we expect to receive around 220 € next week.

Second week of February

This was a very quiet week. We really need to strenghten our portfolio so that we will receive some dividends between days 3 and 10 of the month. There is a small chance that we do not receive any dividends on week 2 if month starts at certain weekday. We do have a few candidates, but we are still investigating them. 

However there were some news related to our portfolio. 

Sampo annouced proposition for 1,70 € dividend for AGM. This means 13,3 % increase in annual dividend. If AGM approves this (very likely) our forward dividends will increase by 22,35 €. 

Pepsico annouced dividend increase by 5%. Announcement will increase forward dividends in 2021 approximately by 2 €. This is better than nothing, and better yet, we did not need to add more money to increase our dividend income! Dividend icreases are always welcome. 

Tesco had 19 to 15 reverse split.

Whitestone REIT announced dividend increase of 2,4%. This will increase our 2021 dividend income approximately by 3,66 €

We received following dividends on thursday and friday:

• 17,14 € from Whitestone REIT
• 29 shares of Vodafone, worth 44,68 €
• 1,16 € from Vodafone as remainders from DRIP

We also sold a tiny amont of our funds and moved them to investment account and we realised 0,76 € profit. The profit was decent 6,69 % for 2 month investment.  

Our February passive income so far is 273,69 €. Pace is decent.

First week of February 2021

This week was time to pay back some of our investment loans. We paid back 501,32 € principal and 24,34 € interests and fees. 

Nordea annouced that it will pay 0,79 € dividends in 2021. 0,40 from 2019 and 0,39 from 2020. The dividends are paid in two parts, first maximum allowed 0,07 € this spring and remaining 0,72 € after the ECB restritions have been removed. This will increase our 2021 forward dividends by 734,51 €.

We made following purchases:

• 30 shares of Cibus Nordic Real Estate @168,064 SEK
• 60 shares of Canadian Utilities @32,3333 CAD
• 25 and 35 shares of Tesco PLC @2,47066 £ and @2,46248 £

  These purchases increase our expected dividend income 2021 approximately by

• 21,68 € from Cibus
• 55,63 € from CU
• 36,89 € from Tesco 

So this week's activity increased our this year estimation by 848,71 €

Dividendwise this week was pretty dull but good. We received following dividends:

• 160,13 € from AT&T
• 44,06 € from Verizon
• 1,79 € from British American Tobacco
• 3,97 € from remainders from Main Street Capital DRIP

So total amount of passive income in first week of February was 209,95 €. Our prediction shows now that we should receive 6763 € in 2021, which is 463 € more than our target. Of course there is always room for suprises so we cannot to rest on our laurels. We will continue to build future income further.
